2.16. Removal and dismantling of a head of the block of cylinders

We remove a head of the block of cylinders for replacement of laying, repair of the mechanism of the drive of valves and the head, and also at full dismantling of the engine.

We perform work on a viewing ditch or the elevator.

If it is necessary to replace laying or to dismantle conrod and piston group on the car, then we remove a head assembled with a final collector, an inlet pipe, the fuel pump and the carburetor, as shown below.

We merge cooling liquid (see. "Replacement of cooling liquid on the car with the engine UEPA-331"). We disconnect an arm of fastening of a reception pipe to the transmission and, having turned off nuts of fastening of a reception pipe to a final collector, we shift a flange of a reception pipe from hairpins of a final collector (see. "Removal of a reception pipe on the car with the engine UEPA-331").

We disconnect a wire from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (see. "Replacement of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid for a combination of devices on the car with the engine UEPA-331"). We remove the airsupercharger (see. "Removal of the airsupercharger and fan of a heater").

We weaken a collar of fastening of the top (bringing) radiator hose to a branch pipe of a head of the block of cylinders.

We remove a hose from a branch pipe.

We weaken a collar of fastening of a bypass hose of the cooling system to a branch pipe of a head of the block of cylinders.

We remove a hose from a branch pipe.

We disconnect from the carburetor cables of the drive air and butterfly valves (see. "Removal of a cable of the drive of the air gate of the carburetor", and "Removal of a cable of the drive of butterfly valves of the carburetor") and a wire from the EPHH microswitch (see. "Removal of the microswitch"). We disconnect from unions of an inlet pipe: an EPHH system electropneumatic valve tube, a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and a hose of removal of cooling liquid from a cooling shirt. We disconnect a depression supply tube from the union of the vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition (see. "Removal of the distributor of ignition").

Having weakened a collar, we disconnect a flexible fuel hose from the bringing fuel tube.

Key "on 10" we turn off a bolt of fastening of a wire of "weight" to a front guard.

We remove a chain from a camshaft drive asterisk (see. "Removal of a chain of the drive of the camshaft").

Head "on 19" we turn off ten nuts of hairpins of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.

We remove a head of the block of cylinders together with an inlet pipe and a final collector.

At the removed head of the block of cylinders it is impossible to turn a bent shaft of the engine as sleeves of cylinders can rise from the places due to friction of piston rings. It can lead to the fact that under a persistent lower end face of a sleeve foreign particles will get, and the shirt of cooling of the block of cylinders will become depressurized.

We remove laying of a head of the block of cylinders.

For dismantling of a head of the block we remove an inlet pipe (see. "Removal of an inlet pipe"), a final collector (see. "Removal of a final collector") and the fuel pump (see. "Removal of the fuel pump on the car with the engine UEPA-331"). Расконтрив and having unscrewed adjusting screws of the mechanism of the drive of valves on several turns...

... we remove tips of cores of valves.

We turn out adjusting screws from yokes.

By the Shlitsevy screw-driver it is turned off two screws of fastening of a persistent flange of the camshaft...

... also we remove a persistent flange.

If to remove yokes and their axes there is no need, the camshaft can be taken from beds of a head of the block of cylinders, turning and shifting a shaft forward.

If at the same time the neck or a cam of a shaft rests against a yoke, we shift a yoke on an axis, overcoming effort of a podzhimny spring...

... or, resting the screw-driver, we squeeze valve springs, raising a yoke sock.

If it is necessary to dismantle yokes and their axes, then we mark yokes and expansion plugs that at assembly to establish them on the places.

Mandrel from soft metal we beat out axes of yokes from landing openings in a head of the block of cylinders...

... also we remove yokes, podzhimny springs and expansion plugs.

On axes of yokes of inlet and final valves the tags of VP and VYP and an arrow directed to a back part of a head of the block of cylinders are put.

We take out the camshaft from beds of a head of the block of cylinders.

For a rassukharivaniye of the valve we enclose under it a wooden pro-rate.

We insert a bolt of the suitable size into a fixing opening of a head of the block of cylinders and we screw on it a nut. We start for a nut zatsepny the lever of a rassukharivatel of valves, and the thrust bearing of a rassukhari-vatel is rested against a plate of valve springs.

Pressing the lever of a rassukhariva-tel, we squeeze springs of the valve and we take tweezers crackers.

We remove a plate, a protective cap of the valve, external and internal springs.

We remove a basic washer of springs.

We remove a rubber sealing washer of a plate of springs from a valve core.

We take out the valve.

Similarly we dismantle other valves.

We delete a deposit and we check a state and wear of cores of valves and their guides of plugs, working facets of plates of valves, their saddles and valvate springs. Plates of valves should not have cracks, progar and deformation (buckling). We replace the damaged and worn-out valves broken and the weakened springs new. The worn-out and damaged saddles of valves and guides of their cores are recommended to be replaced with HUNDRED.

We collect and establish a head of the block of cylinders in the return sequence. Before installation of valves we oil their cores engine. We establish new sealing rubber washers of plates of springs of valves. We oil the working surfaces of the camshaft, yokes and their axes engine.

We clear the privalenny planes of a head and the block of cylinders of the remains of old laying, oil, a deposit. We establish new laying of a head of the block of cylinders. We tighten nuts of hairpins of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders the ordered moment (see. "Appendices") in the order shown in fig. 2.
