3.12. Removal of a gear wheel of the drive of the oil pump

We remove the ignition distributor (see. "Removal of the distributor of ignition"). Through a landing nest of the case of the distributor we enter a wooden conical mandrel and we insert it with a tightness into a shlitsevy opening of a gear wheel of the drive of the oil pump.

We take a gear wheel from the block of cylinders, turning it counterclockwise.

Taking out a gear wheel, do not drop it in the block of cylinders.

At installation by a wooden mandrel we enter a gear wheel of the drive of the oil pump into gearing with a gear wheel of the roller of the drive of auxiliary units and, holding a gear wheel the screw-driver, we take out a mandrel. We establish the removed details in the return sequence.
