24.2. Preservation and protection of a paint and varnish covering

After the body of the car is washed carefully up and dried up, we start polishing and protection of a surface.

If on a paint and varnish covering scratches, small risks, traces from a brush sink are found tarnishing, we use tonkoabrazivny structure.

On the damp applicator we squeeze out a little structure...

... also we apply it with a thin layer (roundabouts) on a body surface.

We wait until the structure becomes opaque...

... and raspolirovyvay its soft dry applicator (or soft dry rag).

As all used polishes are created on a water basis, applicators or rags are easily restored when washing.

If deep scratches which did not manage to be removed with tonkoabrazivny structure are found, we use moderately abrasive paste.

On the damp applicator we squeeze out paste...

... and with average pressing we put it along scratch.

We allow paste to dry up and raspolirovyvay its soft dry rag. If necessary we repeat operation.

The scratches and chips which reached soil demand subpaint. For masking of these scratches it is possible to use the tinting pencil or color polish.

The tinting wax pencil of "Chipkit" contains special glue and inhibitors of corrosion. Softly pressing, we fill with a pencil chips and scratches - the pencil has to move across their direction.

We delete with the polishing napkin surplus of wax from the damaged site, leveling a surface.

On the damp applicator we squeeze out color polish...

... also we apply it with an even thin layer on a part of a detail (that it was easier to raspolirovyvat).

We allow полиролю to dry up and raspolirovyvay its soft dry rag. Polish cannot be applied under direct sunshine or on a hot surface. At hit полироля on plastic details we delete it with a damp rag at once.

On the new car which does not have damages of a paint and varnish covering it is possible to use colourless protective polish.

We squeeze out structure on the damp applicator...

... also we apply with an even thin layer on a part of a detail.

We allow полиролю to dry up and raspolirovyvay its soft dry rag.

Before winter over полироля it is necessary to apply the gloss preservative fixing a protective layer.

On the damp applicator we squeeze out preservative and we apply it with an even thin layer on a part of a detail.

Preservative of gloss can be applied on the new car without preliminary polishing. But if the car was operated more than a year, before use of preservative of gloss polishes need to process a body.
