10. Coupling

Description of a design

Cars with the engine UEPA-331 are equipped with coupling of model 2126, with the VAZ-2106 engine - coupling of rear wheel drive cars VAZ. The pedal, the main cylinder, a steel tube and a flexible hose of a hydraulic actuator at both models are identical, and other details are various and are not interchanged.

Coupling is located in the aluminum case attached by six hairpins with nuts to the block of cylinders of the engine UEPA-331 (two hairpins serve also for fastening of a starter). The case of coupling of the VAZ-2106 engine fastens to the block of cylinders four bolts, at the same time for removal of the transmission (assembled with a coupling case) it is also necessary to dismantle a starter. The transmission of model 2126 fastens to a VAZ case of coupling through a pro-rate (see. "Removal of the mechanism of the drive of switching off of coupling on the car with the VAZ-2106 engine").

The casing of coupling with a press disk is balanced at assembly at the stand therefore is subject to replacement only assembled. The casing fastens to a flywheel six bolts. For centering of a casing in a flywheel there are three pins which at installation enter the corresponding openings of a casing. Replace knot at strong wear of a surface of a press disk and "draft" of a diaphragm spring (what reduction of effort to coupling pedals testifies to).

The conducted disk with a spring damper of tortional fluctuations is established between a flywheel and a casing of coupling and can move on vents of a main shaft of the transmission. A disk replace at a beating in a zone of slips more than 0,5 mm, their cracking, teases or uneven wear and also if distance from a surface of a slip ëî rivets less than 0,2 mm.

The bearing of switching off of coupling is installed on the coupling which at inclusion switching off of coupling will mix up on the directing plug, influencing a persistent flange of a diaphragm spring. At the switched-off coupling between the bearing and a persistent flange there has to be a gap which is defined by a free wheeling of a pusher of a fork of switching off of coupling (see. "Adjustment of the drive of switching off of coupling"). The bearing does not demand service and lubricant. It is replaced in case of the increased noise at coupling inclusion which, as a rule, testifies to its strong wear.

The coupling switching off fork - steel, stamped, is in a case of coupling and shakes on a spherical support (under it on a fork vyshtampovano deepening). To a spherical support the fork is drawn in by a lamellar spring, priklepanny in a middle part of a fork. The ends of a fork rest against the coupling of the bearing of switching off of coupling and are drawn in to it by a figured spring. The opening for a clutch release fork lever in a case is closed by a rubber corrugated cover. The fork is constantly drawn in to a pusher of the working cylinder by a spring.

The pedal of coupling is suspended on an axis in an arm of pedal knot and pivotally connected to a pusher which enters dredging of the piston of the main cylinder of coupling.

The main cylinder is attached to a motor board and pedal knot by two hairpins with nuts (nuts are located from pedal knot) and connected by a steel tube and a rubber hose to an adapter and the working cylinder. The working cylinder of coupling of the engine UEPA-331 is inserted into an eye of a case of coupling and fixed by a lock ring. The working cylinder of coupling of the VAZ-2106 engine fastens to a coupling case two bolts.

By pressing a pedal the pusher influences the piston of the main cylinder and transmits pressure upon the piston of the working cylinder through liquid, the piston starts and through a pusher influences a coupling switching off fork. At a pedal otpuskaniye the fork under the influence of an ottyazhny spring presses on a pusher, returning pistons in a starting position. Pushers of working cylinders of both models have a carving part which allows, changing the provision of a fork, to regulate a free wheeling of the bearing of switching off of coupling.

In a hydraulic actuator of coupling brake fluid of the class DOT-3 or DOT-4 is used. Its stock is in the tank fixed on the main cylinder. Under a cover of a tank there is a rubber corrugated diaphragm isolating a tank cavity from atmospheric moisture and dust. For pumping of a hydraulic actuator (when replacing its details or changing liquid) the union on the working cylinder is provided.
