16.2. Removal of the shock-absorber

It is more convenient to perform work on a viewing ditch or the elevator, but it is possible also on the flat platform.

In a luggage carrier we remove the cap closing the top fastening of the shock-absorber from a sidewall upholstery.

Cap key "on 17" we turn off a nut of a bolt of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber, holding a bolt from a provorachivaniye a key "on 14" (the wheel is for descriptive reasons removed). During the work on the elevator we substitute an emphasis under that part of a beam where we remove the shock-absorber to draw in a suspension bracket spring.

We take out a bolt.

If the bolt is not taken out, наживив a nut, we push out it sliding passatizha.

We bring a shock-absorber eye out of an arm of a beam of the back bridge...

... also we remove the shock-absorber.

We remove a rubber cover from a rod...

... and washer.

If necessary we take the expansion metal plug from a rod cover.

Drift from soft metal we beat out the expansion plug from the lower eye of the shock-absorber...

... also we take out it and two rubber plugs.

At installation of the shock-absorber, having put on all elements of its top fastening a rod, we enter a rod into a body opening, nazhivlyay on a rod carving a nut. During the work on the elevator we substitute a support under that part of a beam where we mount the shock-absorber to draw in a suspension bracket spring, and we fix the lower fastening of the shock-absorber. Finally we tighten nuts of fastening of the shock-absorber in situation "the car on wheels".
