12.3. Replacement of an epiploon of a main shaft

Work is carried out on a viewing ditch or the elevator. We remove the transmission (see. "Removal of the transmission").

Head "on 13" we turn off one nut in the lower part of the transmission...

... and a head "on 17" we turn off six more nuts.

We separate a coupling case from the transmission.

Having hooked an assembly shovel or the screw-driver an epiploon...

... we take it from a nest of the directing plug of the bearing of switching off of coupling installed in a coupling case.

Having greased a working surface of an epiploon with a thin layer of Litol-24 lubricant...

... we press it a suitable mandrel or a piece of a pipe with the outer diameter of 44 mm and internal not less than 35 mm.

At a press fitting do not damage a working edge of an epiploon (it is established by a spring towards the back bearing of a main shaft of the transmission).

Assembly is carried out in the return sequence, having replaced ullot-nitelny laying between cases of coupling and the transmission new and having greased it with a thin layer of silicone sealant.
