12.5. Removal of the drive of a speedometer

Work is carried out on a viewing ditch or the elevator.

On the car with a mechanical speedometer the flexible shaft is disconnected from a reducer of its drive (see. "Removal of a flexible shaft of the drive of a speedometer").

If the car is completed with a combination of devices with an electronic speedometer, then the speed sensor is attached to a reducer of its drive.

We disconnect the socket from the sensor.
