18:10. Dismantling of the forward brake mechanism

The forward brake mechanism is disassembled for replacement of the brake cylinder, a disk or other details at their wear, mechanical damage or corrosion.

We hang out and remove a forward wheel. We disconnect a brake hose from a tube (see. "Removal of a forward brake hose"). We turn off the lower bolt of fastening of a support with the cylinder to the directing finger (see. "Replacement of front brake shoes"). Raskontrivay the top bolt of fastening of a support to the directing finger...

We remove the brake cylinder with a hose and a support.

Having clamped a support in a vice with overlays of sponges from soft metal, a hexagon "on 10" we unscrew two screws of fastening of the cylinder to a support.
