19.9.4. Removal and dismantling of a starter 35.3708

We disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery. We remove a corrugated hose from a branch pipe of a zabornik of hot air.

Key "on 13" we turn off two nuts of fastening of the heat-shielding screen of a starter.

Key "on 10" we turn off a bolt of fastening of the screen to an arm of the right support of the power unit and we remove the heat-shielding screen.

Key "on 13" we turn off three bolts of fastening of a starter to a coupling case.

Having shifted a starter forward...

... we disconnect the operating wire from a conclusion of the traction relay (the hose of the cooling system is removed for descriptive reasons).

Having shifted a protective rubber cap...

... a key "on 13" we turn off a nut of fastening of a "plus" wire (from the rechargeable battery) and we remove its tip from a hairpin of the traction relay. We take out a starter between a reception pipe and a case of coupling up.

We clear a starter of dirt and we establish on a workbench.

Key "on 13" we weaken an inhaling of a nut of fastening of a wire to the traction relay...

... also we disconnect a wire tip.

For check of the traction relay...

... we give voltage of +12 V on a relay conclusion...

... "minus" — on the case, and an ohmmeter is connected to contact bolts.

At the same time at the serviceable relay the anchor has to put forward the obgonny coupling in a window of a forward cover, and contact bolts — to become isolated. We replace the faulty traction relay new.

For this purpose...

... by the shlitsevy screw-driver it is turned off three screws...

... also we remove the traction relay.

We install the new traction relay in the return sequence.

For further dismantling of a starter by the crosswise screw-driver it is turned off two screws of fastening of a casing...

... also we remove a casing.

For check of a condition of brushes the screw-driver we unscrew the screw of fastening of a contact wire...

... and, having wrung out the screw-driver a spring, we take a brush.

By the same way it is taken three remained brushes. We replace the brushes which are worn out up to the height of 12 mm and less.

Connecting an ohmmeter in turn to conclusions of windings of the stator, we check them for short circuit on the case and on mezhvitkovy short circuit.

At the same time be convinced that free conclusions of windings are isolated from the case.

Having hooked the screw-driver, we remove a lock ring.

We remove a washer from a shaft.

Key "on 10" we turn off two coupling bolts...

... also we take out them.

We separate parts of a starter...

... also we take out insulating tubes of bolts.

External survey we check a condition of a collector and windings. The carbonization of windings is not allowed. At an insignificant obgoraniye of a collector we smooth out its plates a small abrasive skin. At a strong obgoraniye and wear it is better to replace an anchor. Teases and a navolakivaniye of metal from bearings on necks of a shaft of an anchor we eliminate with a small skin.

Ohmmeter we check anchor windings for short circuit.

The faulty anchor is replaced.

From a cover of the drive we take out a rubber cap.

We remove an adjusting washer from an anchor axis.

Rasshllintovyvayem lever axis.

To small beards we push out an axis...

... also we take out an anchor with the drive.

Having hooked the screw-driver, we remove the drive lever.

The gear wheel of the drive has to rotate easily in one party and not rotate in another, not have chips and забоин on a zakhodny part of teeths. We replace a worn-out gear wheel or the faulty obgonny coupling assembled.

Operev an anchor shaft on wooden whetstone, through a key "on 14" we force down a restrictive ring from a lock ring.

Having hooked the screw-driver, we remove a lock ring.

We remove from a shaft a restrictive ring and the obgonny coupling assembled with a drive gear wheel.

Assembly of a starter is carried out in the return sequence.

At installation of a restrictive ring on lock it is convenient to tighten it sliding passatizha.

Compressed air we blow the case and the brush holder. The Povodkovy ring and plastic surfaces contacting to it we grease Litolom-24. We oil plugs and screw vents of a shaft of an anchor, and also a nave of the obgonny coupling engine.
