2.13. Removal of gear wheels of the oil pump

We perform work on a viewing ditch or the elevator.

We remove a forward cross-piece of a stretcher (see. "Removal of a stretcher")

Key "on 12" we turn off four bolts of fastening of a cover of the oil pump...

... also we uncover together with laying.

We take out the conducting and conducted gear wheels of the oil pump from a cavity of the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft.

We wash out the removed gear wheels in kerosene and we examine. On teeths of gear wheels there should not be chips, zadir. metal vykrashivaniye. The gap between the cylindrical surface of a cavity in the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft and tops of teeths of gear wheels has to make 0,10-0,20 mm (it is checked by the flat probe). At excess of maximum permissible size of a gap (0,25 mm) we replace gear wheels new.

The axial gap of gear wheels of the oil pump (between end faces of gear wheels and the privalochny plane of a cover of the pump) has to be in limits of 0,10-0,19 mm. If necessary we regulate a gap selection of thickness of laying of a cover of the oil pump.

We assemble the oil pump in the return sequence.
